The award ceremony for the Inter-University Sports Competition at Kachin State Comprehensive University (KSCU) was held on August 19, 2024. Prior to the award presentation, friendly football matches were played between the KSCU Staff (Women’s) Union and the Teachers’ Union, as well as between the KSCU Staff (Men’s) Union and the Teachers’ Union. The event was also accompanied by performances from students, including singing and dance acts.

Afterwards, the women’s and men’s football finals were held. In the women’s match, the Nursing Science University team competed against the Science University (Group G) team, with the Nursing Science team emerging victorious. In the men’s match, the Science University (Group A) team played against the Science University (Group G) team, with the Science University (Group A) team securing the win.

The sports competitions were held in four categories: football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and tennis, from August 14 to August 19, 2024.

At the end of the competitions, the respective school principals and members of the sports committee presented trophies to the winning athletes. Dr. Aung Naing Thu, the Vice-Chancellor, awarded the men’s and women’s football teams with trophies in recognition of their victory. The event successfully concluded at 6:30 PM.
