On April 16, 2024, the Welcome Ceremony for New Students and Thingyan Festival for the 2024 academic year was held at Kachin State University of Multidisciplinary Studies. The event was celebrated jointly with students from the following institutions:
The ceremony was opened with a welcoming speech by the Deputy Rector, followed by various student performances, including traditional and modern dances, singing performances, and the King & Queen selection ceremony.
Students also enjoyed traditional Thingyan water festival activities, along with a variety of festive snacks and delicacies. Additionally, well-known singers Pyae Sone and Mai Mai Sai participated in the event, entertaining the attendees with their performances.

The White Coat Ceremony for Foundation Year students of the School of Medical Sciences, Kachin State University of Multidisciplinary Studies, was held today, May 24, 2024, at M-1 Lecture Room.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Khin Maung Lwin, the Dean of the School of Medical Sciences, who delivered a speech on the significance of wearing the White Coat and the responsibilities that come with it.
During the event, Foundation Year students shared their reflections on the meaning of the White Coat and collectively recited the physician’s oath, marking their commitment to the ethical practice of medicine.
August 14, 2024
The 2024 Inter-University Sports Competition of Kachin State University of Multidisciplinary Studies officially commenced on August 14, 2024.

The event was formally inaugurated with an opening speech by the Deputy Rector.
The competition includes events such as football, high jump, table tennis, and badminton, with students from various schools actively participating from today onwards.

Kachin State University of Multidisciplinary Studies is now accepting applications for full-time undergraduate programs for the 2025 academic year, starting from July 15, 2024.

The Graduation Convocation Ceremony of Kachin State University of Multidisciplinary Studies for the academic year 2024 was held on March 2024. at the university campus with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was attended by faculty members, graduates, university officials, and proud families of the graduating students.
